The drama series "The Hot Spot" (NTV, Sunday 10:30 pm) starring actress Mikako Ichikawa. The synopsis and stills from the 5th episode, which will be broadcast on February 9th, have been released.
Kiyomi (Ichikawa), Hazuki (Suzuki Anne), and Minami (Hiraiwa Kami) gather at a local restaurant as usual. However, due to the increase in tourists, a line forms in front of the restaurant, so the three have no choice but to go to a family restaurant. While lingering at the drink bar, they talk about the "ego of regulars" who don't want the local restaurant to thrive.
The cameras of Nippon Television's variety show "Monday Late Show" come to Kiyomi's town. Directors Kishimoto (Sosuke Ikematsu) and Matsuzaki (Oshiro Maeda) interview locals at a shopping mall to gather personal news about people living at the foot of Mount Fuji in honor of "Mount Fuji Day" on February 23rd. However, the stories they interview, such as the supermarket cashier who rings up the cash register quickly and the nurse who collects urine test cups at the perfect time, are all unrelated to Yamanashi.
Meanwhile, Ayano's (Kinami Haruka) daughter Ritsuko (Hara Haruna) who was being interviewed blurts out that there was a man who was really fast, talking about the alien Takahashi (Kadota Akihiro). Kishimoto and Matsuzaki ignore it at first, but there are more reports of sightings of a man with superhuman physical abilities.
Meanwhile, Kiyomi's co-worker Yumi (Kaho) shows her a bent 10-yen coin, saying, "I found something amazing." Yumi, who believes that Onodera is an alien, is the culprit. As the rumors of aliens spread rapidly, an unexpected crisis approaches Kiyomi and Takahashi...!
The drama is a new work by Bakarhythm, who wrote the script for "Brush Up Life" (same station), and the production staff of the same drama. It is a "local alien human comedy" that begins when the main character encounters an alien.
