"This Week's New Releases" brings you information on new comic books. Approximately 290 major comic titles will be released between October 15th and 19th. The regular version of volume 106 of Gosho Aoyama's popular manga "Detective Conan" and a special edition with a storyboard card from the animated film "Detective Conan: The Million Dollar Five-Pointed Star" will be released. The regular version will feature Edogawa Conan on the cover, while the special edition will feature Hattori Heiji and Toyama Kazuha.
On October 15th, volume 4 of "Lord and Dog," which began airing as a TV anime in October, will be released.
On October 16th, volume 8 of "Baban Baban Bang Vampire," which is also being made into a TV anime and a live-action film, will be released.
On October 17th, the following will be released: volume 31 of "Blue Lock," whose second season of the TV anime began in October; volume 16 of "Medaka Kuroiwa Doesn't Understand My Cuteness," whose TV anime will begin airing in January 2025; volume 5 of "The Children of the Shiunji Family," which has been confirmed to be made into a TV anime; volume 9 of "Yowayowa Sensei," a romantic comedy with a high school teacher as the heroine; and volume 12 of "Mutsu Enmei-ryu Ikaiden Shura no Mon Mutsu-san wa Cho Tsuyoi?!", a spin-off comedy of Masatoshi Kawahara's popular fighting manga series "Shura."
Other titles to be released include volume 17 of "Goddess' Cafeterrace," which has been made into a TV anime; volume 38 of "Rent-a-Girlfriend," volume 22 of "In/Spectre," volume 17 of "Amagami-san Chi no Enmusubi," whose TV anime began airing in October; and volume 16 of "Sentai Daishikkaku," whose second season of the TV anime will air in 2025.
On October 18th, the regular and special editions of volume 106 of "Detective Conan," the first volume of the special version of the series, "Detective Conan 1 SPECIAL," volume 9 of the spinoff "Detective Conan: The Criminal's Hanzawa-san," volume 10 of "Kowloon Generic Romance," which has been announced to be adapted into a TV anime and a live-action movie, volume 13 of the baseball manga "Captain 2," volume 29 of "Major 2nd," volume 32 of the fighting manga "Tough: The Man Who Inherits the Dragon," volume 4 of the comic adaptation of the popular anime "Gundam" series, volume 18 of "Boy's Abyss," which has been adapted into a TV drama, volume 11 of "The Mikado Sisters Are Surprisingly Easy," which will be broadcast as a TV anime in 2025, and volume 14 of "Asuka's Sailor Suit," which has been adapted into a TV anime, will be available in stores.
On October 19th, volume 125 of the long-running sushi manga "Edomae no Shun" will be available.
