Even today's hottest stars and artists have moments of "firsts" - their first appearance, first event, first live performance, etc. "My Firsts" is a series where the artists themselves look back on those thrilling moments that only come from inexperience. This time, Yuki Inoue, who plays Tomoichi, the eldest son of Koichi (Masaki Okada) in the NHK morning drama "Wings of a Tiger" (General TV, Monday to Saturday, 8:00 a.m. and others), starring Sari Ito, looks back on the first day of filming for "Ultraman Taiga" (2019).

I played the main character in "Ultraman Taiga" (2019). It wasn't my debut work, and I had already had some acting experience, appearing in musicals and as one of the classmates in the movie "Nisekoi" (2018), but I felt like I was carrying something different on my shoulders.

When I was working on "Nisekoi," I was allowed to participate in the filming of the movie for about a month, but looking back, I realize that I didn't absorb anything.

For "Ultraman Taiga," we started filming the towing scene on the first day of filming. It was a scene where we were driving the car, being towed by the car in front of us, which was holding the camera.

I think the scene starts with "Ready, set, go," but I didn't even know what "Ready, set, go" was, so I thought it would start as soon as the car started moving.

In reality, it was "Ready, set, go" once the car started moving and passed a certain point. If I had listened carefully to the conversations of the staff, I probably would have understood, but I was so preoccupied with my own things that I didn't hear it.

When the car started moving, it was my turn to speak, so I started talking nonstop. Then the staff member got flustered, saying, "Not yet."

Because I had started, we had to turn around once more and go back to the starting point... That was the first day of filming. I was prepared for this to be a big deal that day.

That's how little I understood the rules on set. Maybe it was because I was leading the charge that I didn't understand, but I think now that if I had watched "Nisekoi" properly, I would have understood that the acting should start after the "Ready, set, go" command. But I was overwhelmed. I was ignorant.

Now I can laugh about it and talk about it.
