NHK's history program "Rekishi Tantei" (General) will air the "UNBOUND Collaboration Special: Tanuma Okitsugu vs. Matsudaira Sadanobu" from 10:00 PM on August 20th. This special, a collaboration with the station's historical drama "UNBOUND (Berabou)," will focus on the rivals Tanuma Okitsugu and Matsudaira Sadanobu, who clashed at Edo Castle.
On this day's program, Kokoro Terada , who played Tayasu Masamaru in the drama, and Nakamura Hayato, who played Hasegawa Heizo Nobuyoshi, will appear as special detectives.
Terada will investigate the truth behind Okitsugu's bribery allegations. Hayato will investigate the surprising side of Sadanobu, who loved romance novels. Also appearing in the studio will be Hidekazu Mashima, who plays Tokugawa Ieharu, and Inoue Yuki, who plays Matsudaira Sadanobu.
