To commemorate the production of a movie version of Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: The Lonely Dragon, based on the manga by Cool Kyoushinsha, and its release in 2025, the online manga site Web Action (Futabasha) will be releasing 10 volumes of the original work and four spin-off works for free.
The following works will be available for free until noon on October 4th: Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid volumes 1-3, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Kanna's Daily Life volumes 1-3, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Elma's Office Lady Diary volumes 1-2, Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Lucoa is my XX, and Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid: Fafnir, a Confined Life volume 1.
Miss Kobayashi's Dragon Maid began serialization in Monthly Action (Futabasha) in 2013 and is currently being serialized in Manga Action (same publisher). The story depicts the dragon girl Tohru, who lives as a maid in the home of Kobayashi, a female office worker, and the chaos she causes while struggling for Kobayashi. The first season of the TV anime aired from January to April 2017, and the second season from July to September 2021.
