On September 12, WOWOW announced that it will begin broadcasting the 2024-2025 season of the UEFA Champions League exclusively at the JFA Soccer Culture Creation Center "blue-ing!" (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) operated by the Japan Football Association (JFA).

"blue-ing!" is located in Tokyo Dome City Crystal Avenue and was opened as one of the joint projects of the "Basic Agreement on Urban Development Cooperation and Base Reorganization Using the Power of Soccer" concluded between the JFA and Mitsui Fudosan in 2021. Based on the concept of "a place of communication and creativity that connects to the 'future'", it has an area where you can enjoy next-generation experiential content, the latest digital exhibitions, AI automatic generation, and more, as well as an event space, cafe & bar, and soccer shop.

The UEFA Champions League is the world's top soccer tournament organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) and contested between the strongest clubs representing Europe. From the 2024-2025 season, the tournament format will be renewed and the number of participating clubs will increase from 32 to 36. The previous group stage system has been abolished and replaced with a league phase in which all 36 participating clubs will play eight games in one big league. The top eight teams from the league phase and the eight teams that win the final tournament and playoffs will advance to the round of 16.

Details such as broadcast schedules will be announced on the official "blue-ing!" X (formerly Twitter) account.
