Joker 2：The Japanese dubbing cast has been announced. Hiroaki Hirata will continue to play the Joker, while Lady Gaga will play "Lee"

The Japanese voice cast for the sequel to the movie "Joker," "Joker: Folie à Deux" (commonly known as "Joker 2"), has been announced. Hirata Hiroaki will be playing the role of Joker, played by Joaquin Phoenix, as in the previous film, and Muranaka Satoru will be playing the role of Lee, the mysterious woman played by Lady Gaga. The movie will be released on October 11th.

Regarding the dubbing of this film, Hirata said, "I heard rumors a long time ago that there would be a sequel. However, I also heard that there were a lot of singing scenes, so I assumed that they wouldn't make a dubbed version, and I felt both sad and a little relieved. So when I was officially offered the role, I was extremely nervous." He continued, "Just like the first film, I approached the recording with only the thought of being close to Joaquin. However, I felt that Arthur's darkness was even deeper in this film, so I had to be careful not to let it take over my mental health while acting, which I had never experienced before, and it surprised even me." Muranaka said about Lee, "She is a woman who has somehow managed to blend in with her surroundings, but has always lived with a sense of discomfort. From the outside, she does some outrageous things, but her methods have changed and it all makes sense. If anything, she is rational. She is an interesting character who is unbalanced, combining sensitivity and boldness." She also said, "It might be fun to look up the meaning of 'Folie à Deux' before watching and imagine what kind of story it will be. I think you can enjoy this film on its own, but it's even better if you watch the previous one first. I'll be waiting for you between fantasy and reality!"

In addition, a luxurious voice-over cast has been assembled, including Shiro Saito as Jackie, the guard at Arkham State Hospital where the Joker is incarcerated, and Takuzo Kadono as the judge who corners the Joker.
