A new illustration titled "Cafe Date" for the second season of the TV anime "My Happy Marriage," based on the novel by Akumi Aoki of Fujimi L Bunko (KADOKAWA), has been released. The illustration shows the main character, Miyo Saimori, and her fiance, Kiyoka Hisado, enjoying a "cafe date." A visual image video featuring a new short story written by the original author, Aoki, and newly recorded voices by Reina Ueda, who plays Miyo, and Kaito Ishikawa, who plays Kiyoka, was also released on YouTube.
The story is about Miyo Saimori, who was born into a prestigious family, but after her biological mother died and she was abused by her stepmother and stepsister, she is ordered to marry Kiyoka Hisado, a young soldier who is rumored to be ruthless and merciless. The live-action movie starring Ren Meguro of the popular group "Snow Man" was released in 2023, which also became a hot topic.
The first season of the TV anime aired from July to September 2023. The second season will begin airing in January 2025.
