The 92nd episode of the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday 8:00 AM and others), starring Mio Imada , was broadcast on August 5th, and viewers were shocked by the "true identity" of the manager of the cafe where Meiko ( Nanoka Hara), who has moved to Tokyo, works.
In episode 92, Ranko (Yuumi Kawai) and Meiko move to Tokyo. Meiko immediately starts working as a waitress at a cafe, and a few days later, she reunites with Kentaro (Takumi Kitamura), who visits the cafe with Takashi (Fumiya Takahashi). Kentaro, who works as a director at NHK, encourages Meiko to appear on "Amateur Singing Contest," saying, "There's a qualifying round coming up, why don't you give it a try?"
Meiko is extremely shaken when she meets Kentaro, the man she has feelings for. As she stammers about her order, the manager kindly speaks to her.
After the episode aired, the official account (@asadora_nhk) posted a behind-the-scenes photo with the caption, "Meiko has decided to move to Tokyo and work at a cafe." She also wrote, "Nishimura Takemasa has been with her for a long time as her Tosa dialect instructor," and "Hara can't help but laugh, saying, 'It's funny to see Nishimura approaching me in this outfit,'" and shared a photo of herself and actor Nishimura Takemasa, who is the Tosa dialect instructor for "Anpan."
Nishimura will also be in charge of teaching Tosa dialect in the first half of 2023 for "Ranman," and will appear in only one episode of the series. He also plays the role of a cafe manager in "Anpan."
Comments on social media included, "So the manager was a dialect instructor!", "So the cafe manager was Nishimura, the Tosa dialect instructor. I couldn't tell because of his hairstyle and beard. After 'Ranman,' he's now appearing in the main story of ' Anpan' as well," and "Nishimura has a really great aura."
