It has been revealed that the second season of the TV anime "The Great Operation Yozakura Family," based on the manga by Hitsuji Gonpei, currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), will be produced. The first season began airing on April 7th in the MBS/TBS Sunday 5pm anime slot, and the final episode was aired on October 6th. After the final episode aired, a video was aired announcing the decision to produce a second season.
