Noriko Eguchi delivers a series of sharp tsukkomi in a comedy skit

NHK's new variety comedy skit "LIFE! Summer" (General TV), hosted by comedian Teruyoshi Uchimura of the comedy duo "Ucchan Nanchan," will air from 10:00 PM on August 22nd. Noriko Eguchi , an actress who has appeared in dramas and movies, including the NHK Asadora drama "Anpan ," will make a triumphant return to the show for the first time in three years. During the skit, Eguchi delivers a series of sharp, razor-sharp remarks, much to Uchimura's delight.

The program on this day was an extended 59-minute version, and featured Kawanishi Kenshiro, Goto Junpei, Sakurada Hiyori, Jiro, Tanaka Naoki, Tsukaji Muga, Nishida Naomi, and Koshi Mizukami.

"LIFE!" aired a special program on BS Premium in 2012, and the first series began on NHK General TV in 2013. So far, it has produced popular characters such as the Squid King, Mitsuya Kanji, the Alien Prime Minister, Usotaro, Omoemon, Katz Eye, Yokai Doshitaroukashan, Gesnic Magazine Saijo, and Plus Conductor.

The show will be renewed in the spring of 2021, marking its ninth year as a series. It will be broadcast in spring, summer, autumn, and winter, with a different cast each time.
