It is a pure love story about Kim Min-seok/Aoki Teru (played by Jun Shison), a young man who lost his Japanese parents at a young age and was adopted into one of Korea's leading conglomerates, and Kawase Momoko, who lost her father in an accident at a young age and overcame poverty to become a doctor, as they face difficult circumstances but never give up.
