A fountain pen inspired by Char Aznable, the "Red Comet" from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam," will be released by Sailor Pen Co., Ltd. as the "Mobile Suit Gundam x Sailor Fountain Pen Char Aznable Edition" (Sunstar Stationery). It will cost 22,000 yen.
The fountain pen's cap features Char's emblem and unit number in gold. The cap ring is engraved with "CHAR AZNABLE." The nib is made of stainless steel with an IP gold finish, and the Principality of Zeon emblem is delicately laser-engraved. The included ink is a specially formulated original ink called "CHAR AZNABLE RED," and the label features a luxurious design of Char's Zaku II in gold foil stamping. It comes in a special box with gold foil stamping and includes an ink converter.
Pre-orders are being accepted at Bandai Namco Group's shopping site, "Premium Bandai." Shipping is scheduled for October.
