A 4K digital restoration of the film "The Way of the Dragon," in which "legendary action star" Bruce Lee took on six roles—director, screenwriter, producer, music supervisor, and martial arts choreographer—will be broadcast on BS12 Twelvi from 8:05 PM on May 4th.
"The Way of the Dragon" visualizes the deadly double nunchaku technique, the deadly battles in the coliseum, and the fundamental spirit of Jeet Kune Do. Filming in Italy also generated buzz, and it became the biggest hit of his career in Hong Kong. The climactic battle between Lee and Chuck Norris is renowned as one of the most memorable fight scenes in film history.
Tong Long, a young man from Hong Kong, lands at Rome's international airport in Italy. He has come to help Chan, the daughter of a Chinese restaurant owner who is being forced to vacate her business by the mafia. Quiet Tong Long is initially ridiculed by Chan and the young people at the restaurant, but their opinion of him changes when he uses his skillful kung fu to fend off some thugs who come to threaten him. Tong Long and the young people then unite to take on the mafia.
However, the mafia sends in an American martial artist named Colt... and that's how the story unfolds.
