Musician Tamio Okuda will hold the final performance of his nationwide tour "MTRY Tour 2026 'Spring Ooh La La'" at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall (Setagaya Ward, Tokyo) on March 29th. It has been announced that the event will be broadcast live on WOWOW.
In 2024, Okuda celebrated his 30th solo anniversary with a two-day concert called "Hitori Matatabi Special" at the Ryogoku Kokugikan. In 2025, he teamed up with Koji Kikkawa to embark on a nationwide tour as Ooochie Koochie, and has continued to engage in a variety of musical activities.
In 2005, he also formed the band "MTR&Y." The four members are Okuda, Masashi Minato (drums), Rei Ohara (bass), and Yuta Saito (keyboards), and are a close-knit band that has worked together for many years to create music. This national tour marks Okuda's first tour with the band in three years, and will kick off on January 11th of this year and run through March 29th, visiting 17 locations across the country.
The tour's final performance will be broadcast live and streamed on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 5:00 PM on March 29th under the title "Live Broadcast! Okuda Tamio "MTRY Tour 2026 'Spring Ooh La La'".
