The main cast of the TV anime "Kaori-san Wants to Fight Even If She Reincarnates," based on the latest work by Hekiru Hikawa, known for the manga "Pani Poni," has been announced, with Jun Fukuyama playing the protagonist, Ryusei Narukami, a former demon king who now spends his days playing games. Akira Sekine has also been announced to play Meteor Hanaori, the hero who once defeated Ryusei and is now a high school girl.
Fukuyama commented, "The demon king is defeated by a hero and reincarnated as a NEET, then meets the hero again in the real world and all sorts of chaos ensues! The series is a manga published by Morning Two (Kodansha). It is a romantic comedy about Narukami Ryusei, a recluse who spends his days absorbed in video games, but who is actually the Demon King in a world other than this one, and Kaori Meteor, a hero who once defeated Ryusei and is now a high school girl. It will be adapted into a TV anime in 2026.
