The drama series "Winter Something, Spring Something" (NTV, Wednesdays at 10pm) starring actress Hana Sugisaki has released a synopsis and stills for the second episode, which will air on January 21st.
One fine winter day, Fumina (Sugisaki) was talking with the staff member Kazuchi (Mizusawa Rintaro) and the manager Joe (Serizawa Koji) at her favorite coffee shop, Isunikyaku, about how to spend Christmas. "Do you want to spend Christmas with your lover?" Fumina is of the opinion that it's okay not to spend Christmas, but her boyfriend Yukio (Ryo Narita) is of the opinion that he does.
On Christmas Eve, Fumina enjoys shopping and dinner with Yukio. However, the next morning, Yukio suggests to Fumina, "Why don't we live together around summer?" and she is unable to give an immediate answer. Her friend En-chan (Nouchi Maru), who works with her at a second-hand clothing store, and Kazuki-kun, who didn't spend Christmas with her, each have their own worries...
The drama is a love story with an original script by director Imaizumi Rikiya, who has also directed "Love is Hard" and "Undercurrent."
