The eighth episode of NHK's evening drama "Hirayasumi" (General TV, Monday to Thursday 10:45 p.m.), starring actor Okayama Amane, will be broadcast on November 13th.
The drama is based on the manga of the same name by Shinzo Keigo, which has been serialized in Weekly Big Comic Spirits since 2021. The story follows 29-year-old part-time worker Ikuta Hiroto (Okayama) who inherits a single-story house from his neighbor, Wada Hanae (Negishi Tokie), and begins living with his 18-year-old cousin Kobayashi Natsumi (Mori Nana), who moved to Tokyo from Yamagata. People with difficult life problems gather around them...
In episode 8, Natsumi's friend Akari (Mitsushima Nazuna) comes to stay at her flat. While cleaning, Natsumi finds a DVD of a movie that Hiroto starred in, and is reminded of Hiroto's days as an actor.
Akari comes to the flat and reads Natsumi's manga, praising it highly. Natsumi tells Akari that Hiroto always encourages her, so now is the time to keep going. Natsumi recalls a summer day she spent with Hiroto in elementary school... Scene cuts have also been released.
