It has been revealed that the second installment of the new tokusatsu series "PROJECT RED," titled "Awakening Hunter Omega Horn" (TV Asahi, Sundays at 9:30 AM), will begin airing on July 26th. The main visual has also been released, featuring a giant beast with roaring horns (a horned beast) and a red hero standing with a megaphone-like item in his hand, accompanied by the tagline "Raise your voice!"
Furthermore, a teaser PV titled "-Awakening-" has also been released on the YouTube channel "PROJECT RED" and the Toei Tokusatsu Fan Club (TTFC). The video features a hero in a red cap awakening a giant red beast with large horns, and also includes shots of many more horned beasts lined up together.
The protagonist is Shout the Flame, a treasure hunter living hand-to-mouth. Shout is well-versed in ancient scripts, deciphers ancient texts, and sets out on expeditions, making a living by selling the artifacts he unearths. One day, he encounters Enkaku, the "Horned Beast King." This encounter with Enkaku, who can also take on a human form (a demi-human form), will drastically change Shout's destiny. Shout and Enkaku, now fast friends, engage in "hunter battles" with a variety of unique hunters they encounter along the way.
The five main cast members have now been revealed. The protagonist, treasure hunter Flame Shout/Captain Omegahorn, will be played by Sho Narahara. And Flame Horn, Shout's horned beast partner, will be played by Masato Kunigami.
Also, Nanaha Itose will play Giriko of Hazan, a horned beast hunter of the same generation as Shout. Shogo Tazuru will play Ivar of Zetsubou, a powerful and aggressive warrior who leads many hunters, and Eito Konishi will play Zetsuenkaku, Ivar's horned beast partner who, like Enkaku, can also transform into a demi-human form.
