It has been announced that a second season of the TV anime "Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi," based on the romantic comedy manga by nonco currently serialized in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), will be produced. An illustration celebrating the decision to produce the second season, drawn by character designer Aikari Minagawa, has been released. It depicts Kanan Takakuni and Hitsuji Kugyo making peace signs, along with chibi versions of the main characters.
"Kanan-sama wa Akumade Choroi" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Magazine" in June 2022. It depicts the first love of Noble Canaan, a gourmet demon who descended to a human high school to devour the souls of young and sweet humans. Canaan, who is "easy to get" and "cute" with no experience in romance, ends up making a romantic contract with the naturally positive high school boy, Kogai Hitsuji.
The anime was produced by Studio KAI, and featured Aoi Koga as the character of Kogane Kanan and Seiichiro Yamashita as the character of Kogai Yoji. The first season began airing in April, and the final episode was broadcast on TOKYO MX late at night on June 20th.
