The title of the theatrical anime film for "Detective Precure!", the 23rd installment of the popular anime "Precure" series, has been revealed as "Detective Precure! The Mysterious Garden and the Two's Secret." The main visual, depicting a "mysterious garden" that looks like something out of a dream, has also been released, and it has been announced that the Precure from the 22nd installment "You and Idol Pretty Cure(KimiPuri)" and the 21st installment "Wonderful PreCure!(WanPuri)" will also be featured, making a dream collaboration a reality. It has also been announced that "Pochitan Miracle Lights" will be distributed as a gift to moviegoers under junior high school age. This marks the return of the Miracle Light for the first time in about three years, since "Pretty Cure All Stars F" which will be released in 2023.
The visuals feature the energetic Cure Answer and Cure Mystic, Pochitan and Jet-senpai holding up their Miracle Lights, as well as Cure Arcana Shadow and Mashutan, who are Pretty Cure but for some reason act as part of the Phantom Thieves, Cure Eclair and Shushutan, whose existence remains shrouded in mystery in the TV series, and the mysterious girl Karin and the fairies Alan and Rain, who are original characters for the movie.
A visual that will be an important scene in the movie has also been released. It shows Anna and Mikuru chasing "Dame Dame" with Precure Mirror Loupes in hand in what appears to be an alleyway, and the Precure arriving at "Karin's Garden" guided by Pochitan and Rain, with Pochitan, Jet-senpai, Mashutan and Shushutan cheering on the Precure holding up Miracle Lights.
In the theatrical version, the "X Mark Incident" occurs, where important items become inoperable or unusable when marked with an "X". As Anna and her friends investigate the incident, a fairy client named Rain appears. She asks them to "protect Karin from the dead," and guided by Rain, they arrive at the dreamlike and beautiful "Karin's Garden," where they meet the girl Karin and the fairy Alan who watches over her. The film will be released on September 18th.
The motif of "Detective Precure!" is "detective," and the theme is "seeing, feeling, and thinking for yourself to find the 'real' answer." The main characters are girls who work as detectives with the desire to "help people in need," and guided by a mysterious power, the main character time-slips from the present day of 2027 to 1999. The story depicts new encounters, friendships, and growth for the Precure across time. The TV anime is currently airing every Sunday at 8:30 a.m. on ABC TV and TV Asahi.
