"Shinjuku Anison Scope" is a series where Sho Higuchi, the anime buyer at Tower Records Shinjuku store, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, shares the latest anime song sales trends and firsthand accounts from the sales floor. The number one seller at the store from June 8th to 14th was "WHAT AN EXPLOSION," the new single from "RAISE A SUILEN," a girls' band featured in the popular anime and game series "BanG Dream!".

The top-ranking single, "WHAT AN EXPLOSION," is RAISE A SUILEN's 15th single. It includes the title track, which features an aggressive sound and catchy melody, as well as "RUNAWAY STAR," which is currently available on the smartphone game "BanG Dream! Girls Band Party!".
Coming in at second place is "Dou-Da? DOING! / REGAIN AGAIN LLLLOVE," the second single from "Love Live!!", a school idol group appearing in "Ikizurai! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD," a new project in the "Love Live!" series.
In 7th place is "HATSUNE MIKU 10th Anniversary Album 'Re:Start'", a compilation album released in 2017 to commemorate Hatsune Miku's 10th anniversary. In 8th place is "0401 - The Best Days of Kasane Teto 2026", an album by virtual singer Kasane Kensuke Ushio. In 9th place is "Liz and the Blue Bird Original Soundtrack girls, dance, staircase", the soundtrack released in 2018 for the animated film "Liz and the Blue Bird", for which Kensuke Ushio composed the music.
