WEBTOON Entertainment, the parent company of LINE Digital Frontier, has announced that it has signed a strategic partnership agreement with Warner Bros. Animation to develop anime adaptations of popular webtoons. The two companies will jointly develop anime projects.
The partnership marks a significant expansion of WEBTOON Entertainment's animation pipeline, with titles selected from the company's Korean and English platforms and supported in development by the IP business teams of US-based WEBTOON Productions and Japan-based LINE Digital Frontier.
The initial titles planned for development are "The Stellar Swordmaster" (Japanese title: "Star Sword Swordmaster"), "Hardcore Leveling Warrior" (Japanese title: "Moeretsu Senshi"), "Down to Earth", and "Elf & Warrior", with additional titles to be announced in the future.
