It has been revealed that WOWOW will exclusively broadcast and stream the Glastonbury Festival 2025, the world's largest outdoor music festival, which took place in Somerset, England in June.
Glastonbury Festival has a history of over 50 years and is one of the world's largest festivals, attracting over 200,000 spectators. Artists from a wide range of genres, including rock, pop, R&B, jazz, hip-hop, and dance music, perform on over 90 stages, both large and small, including the main Pyramid Stage, which can accommodate approximately 120,000 people.
This year's festival will take place from June 25th to 29th, with headliners The 1975 and Olivia Rodrigo at the helm, as well as Rod Stewart, John Fogerty, Nile Rodgers & Chic, The Prodigy, Alanis Morissette, and Gracie Abrams. WOWOW will broadcast and stream the six-hour event on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 2:30 PM on October 5th.
