It has been announced that a new video from the popular anime series "Ojamajo Doremi," "Ojamajo Carnival!! ~Yuru Tabi Hen~," will be released on YouTube at midnight on September 20th. Footage of the production process of the new video was shown at the "Ojamajo Doremi Summer Party 2025" event held at Pacifico Yokohama (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on August 3rd, and the finished video was previewed to those who purchased tickets to the event from September 11th to 15th. The video will now be made available to the public on YouTube. Prior to its general release on YouTube, it will be streamed free of charge as part of Abema's original program "SHIBUYA ANIME BASE," which will be live-streamed from 9pm on September 19th.
The video depicts the six grown-up members of MAHO-do enjoying a trip together, with Doremi and friends' unchanged smiles projected against the backdrop of beautiful scenery from various locations. The video also features a new arrangement of the popular song "Ojamajo Carnival!!" titled "Ojamajo Carnival!! -Yuru Tabihen-."
It was also announced that "Ojamajo Carnival!! ~Yuru Tabi Hen~" will be released on various music streaming services from September 20th. Behind-the-scenes stories from the recording were also revealed at "Ojamajo Doremi Summer Party 2025," with Yuki Matsuoka, who plays Aiko Seno, recalling, "The tempo was slow and difficult, and it was very tough." Producer Hiromi Seki said, "I want everyone to dance in a circle, like at the Bon Odori festival. I think there are many ways to enjoy it."
"Ojamajo Doremi" depicts the daily training of the main character, Doremi, who has become an apprentice witch, and her friends as they train to become full-fledged witches. The first season of the TV anime aired from February 1999 to January 2000, the second season, "Ojamajo Doremi# (Sharp)," from February 2000 to January 2001, the third season, "More! Ojamajo Doremi," from February 2001 to January 2002, and the fourth season, "Ojamajo Doremi Doremi Dokkaan!", from February 2002 to January 2003.
The 2020 release of the animated film "Looking for Magical Doremi," which commemorates the series' 20th anniversary, also attracted a lot of attention.
