It has been announced that the performance of singer-songwriter Fujii Fumiya's "47 Prefecture Concert Tour 2025-2026 FUTATABI," which will be held at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall (Setagaya Ward, Tokyo) on December 25th, will be broadcast live on WOWOW.
Fujii will hold his first 47 prefecture tour (61 lectures in total) from September 2023 to June 2024. His second 47 prefecture tour, "FUTATABI," began in April this year. The highlight of this tour is that it is divided into five blocks, shuffling his career. The tour starts with songs from his Checkers days, then moves on to works produced by the music unit "F-BLOOD," and then hits from his solo career.
WOWOW will be broadcasting and streaming the performance at Showa Women's University Hitomi Memorial Hall live on WOWOW Live and WOWOW On Demand from 6:30 pm on December 25th under the title "Live Broadcast! Fujii Fumiya Concert Tour 2025-2026 FUTATABI."
Additionally, to coincide with Fujii's 47 prefecture tour, WOWOW has been broadcasting and streaming a special program titled "Fujii Fumiya x WOWOW Special Serial -FUTATABI-" for over a year since April this year. The lineup from September to November is as follows:
"FUMIYA FUJII CONCERT TOUR 1998 ARK" (September 4, 8:00 PM, WOWOW Live/WOWOW On Demand) - footage of the live concert held at Nippon Budokan (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on December 21, 1998, featuring Fujii's CG art; "FUMIYA FUJII CENTER STAGE TOUR 2000 OVER" (October 4, 1:00 PM, WOWOW Live/WOWOW On Demand) - footage of the "Countdown to the 21st Century" live concert held at Nippon Budokan on December 31, 2000; "Fujii Fumiya 40th Anniversary Special Music Video Collection" (scheduled to be broadcast and streamed in November) - a look back at his numerous hit songs with video footage.
