"Bura Tamori" (NHK General TV, Saturday 7:30 pm) is a popular NHK variety show in which TV personality Tamori visits various towns. On August 30th, he will continue from the previous week and explore the secret behind the creation of Yasuda Auditorium at the University of Tokyo's Hongo Campus (Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo).
Yasuda Auditorium celebrates its 100th anniversary this year. Tamori will be standing in this place that symbolizes the student movement.
The Historiographical Institute also houses national treasures. Tamori is thrilled by the incredible skill of interpreting Nobunaga's feelings at the time from his handwritten writings. Countless specimens from the museum's collection are also featured. The program also delves into the "treasures" born from the insatiable curiosity of researchers at the University of Tokyo.
Tamori's travel partner will be NHK Hiroshima announcer Mana Sato, and the narration will be provided by singer-songwriter Aimyon.
