Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: 13 Demon Slaying Corps voice actors gather at Zojoji Temple!

The "Prayer for the Return of Akaza Just Before the Release" event for the new movie version of the anime " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba" based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Infinity Castle Arc Arc Chapter 1 - Akaza Returns" (released July 18th), was held at Zojoji Temple (Minato Ward, Tokyo) on July 11th. Thirteen voice actors who play the Demon Slaying Corps soldiers and pillars, including Natsuki Hanae Tanjiro Kamado , gathered at the event. They donated lanterns to Zojoji Temple and prayed for the success of the first chapter.

With the release of the first chapter approaching, Hanae said, "It's been six years since the "Risi-hen" arc, and at first I didn't think it would become this big. I thought, "It's finally here, we've come this far," and called out to Akari Kito, who plays Kamado Nezuko, "N-Nezuko." Kito also seemed deeply moved, saying, "When I think about the "Risi-hen" arc, I start to cry."

At the event, the voice actors who played the characters who were saved or helped by Tanjiro looked back on the story so far, and expressed their gratitude to Hanae, saying, "Thank you very much." Hanae said, "Just as everyone has said, 'Thank you,' I think that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba is made up of the connections of many people's thoughts. I want to use those thoughts to confront Muzan Kibutsuji." He also expressed his gratitude to the cast, fans, staff, and press by bowing deeply and saying, "Thank you very much."

The story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human. The original work was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The comics have sold over 150 million copies in total. The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc: Mugen Train" was released in October 2020. The "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, the "Swordsmith Village Arc" from April to June 2023, and the "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024.
