Aibou："Golden duo" Yutaka Mizutani and Yasufumi Terawaki to appear on stage at "Marunouchi TOEI" for the first time in 17 years

It was announced on June 23rd that the "golden duo" of Mizutani Yutaka, who plays the lead role of Sugishita Ukyo in the popular detective drama "Aibou," and Terawaki Yasufumi, who plays Kameyama Kaoru, will be appearing on stage to greet the audience at the "Goodbye Marunouchi Toei" event to be held on July 24th.

This will be the first time that Mizutani and Terawaki have appeared together on stage at the same venue in 17 years, since the stage greeting for the first movie, "AIBOU: The Movie - In Dire Situation! 42.195km Tokyo Big City Marathon" (2008), which was a hit with an audience of 3 million people. This time, the stage greeting will take place before the screening, and it is expected that there will be some unique dialogue and behind-the-scenes stories between "Ukyo-san" and "Kameyama-kun", who was the first partner and has returned as the fifth partner.

"Goodbye Marunouchi Toei" is part of the grand finale project of "Marunouchi Toei" (Chuo Ward, Tokyo), which will close its 65-year history on July 27th. "Aibou" will be shown on July 24th, from 6:30pm before the main screening begins. Advance tickets will be sold by lottery on "Pia". Applications will be accepted from 6pm on June 23rd to 11am on July 4th. Lottery results will be announced after 6pm on July 4th. General sales will begin at 10am on July 5th.

So far, four "Aibō" movies have been produced, as well as two spin-off movies. The first movie, which was produced to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the launch of TV Asahi, involved 30,000 runners and 150,000 spectators in the "Tokyo Big Marathon," and featured two members of the Metropolitan Police Department's Special Investigation Unit taking on a crime triggered by the murder of a news Caster, earning a box office income of 4.44 billion yen.
