The special drama "Intruders' Dinner," written by Bakarhythm and starring actress Rinko Kikuchi, will be broadcast on Nippon Television from 1:25 a.m. on December 29th.
This special drama was produced by the same production team as "Brush Up Life," a popular drama written by Bakarhythm, and was broadcast as a New Year's special this year. It is a "mansion-invading human suspense" that begins when three women, played by Kikuchi, Hiraiwa Kami, and Yoshida Yo, break into a mansion. It won the Tokyo Drama Award for Excellence in the Single-Episode Drama Category.
Akiko (Kikuchi), who works at a housekeeping service company, hears a rumor from her colleague Megumi (Hiraiwa) that the company president, Natsumi (Shiraishi Mai), is evading taxes and has a lot of money stored away at home. Akiko, who has always been dissatisfied with the company's policies and treatment, and Megumi's friend Kanae (Yoshida) and the three of them break into the president's house and try to steal the money hidden away in a safe... Ikematsu Sosuke and Kakuta Akihiro also appear in the film.
