It has been announced that "Call of the Night Season 2," the sequel to the TV anime "Call of the Night Uta," based on Kotoyama's popular manga, will enter a new chapter, "Halloween Night Arc," from episode 9, which will air on August 29th. The key visual for the "Halloween Night Arc" has been released. In the new chapter, the battle between the vampire and the detective, centered around Nazuna and Anko, will reach its climax. The visual shows Nazuna smiling fearlessly at Kou, who is dressed as a vampire, and Anko pointing a gun at the two from behind. Also appearing are the vampire Kikyo Seri and her servant Akkun, also known as Akiyama Akito.
The "Halloween Night" PV has also been released on YouTube. As Nazuna and Anko are reunited against the backdrop of ominous music, Kou's voice is heard saying, "The day the detective's family was destroyed," and the words "October 31st" appear. The scene depicts the start of an eventful Halloween, with Anko saying, "I've come to end the night." As the ending theme "Sleep" by the hip-hop unit Creepy Nuts plays, never-before-seen scenes are shown one after another, including a battle scene between Nazuna and Anko, Kou running through the Halloween town, and the serious expressions of the vampires, and finally, Nazuna is shown shedding tears.
