CANDY TUNE upgrades to Green Car

Idol group CANDY TUNE attended the "Tokyo Skytree Town Dream Christmas 2025" illumination lighting ceremony held at Tokyo Skytree Town (Sumida Ward, Tokyo) on November 6th. After the event, they spoke to an interviewer about their breakthrough.

CANDY TUNE has had a breakout year this year, with their song "Double Fight!", released last year, reaching over 3.3 billion views on TikTok. Tickets for their nationwide tour, which began in October and will be held in eight cities, have sold out in advance, and they are on a roll, with additional shows already confirmed.

The members say they are now being approached more often in the streets and are feeling the realization that they have made it big. When asked "what has changed since we made it big," Murakawa Bibian said with a smile, "It was the first time I rode in the Green Car (while traveling). In the Green Car you can really lie back, so we all reclined our seats as far back as we could and got wet towels... (laughs). We were able to travel in luxury. I guess this is what it means to be popular!"Kotomi Tachibana also revealed, "One day, we started getting Green Car tickets!"

Looking back, the "one day" was in October, and with a smile, they said, "The tour started and we were constantly traveling, so we got a green car!" When the press called out to them, "Congratulations," all the members responded with a cheery "Thank you!"
