Fujio the Movie: Doraemon and the New Castle of Nobita 's Undersea Rock," based on the popular anime " Doraemon " series created by Fujiko F. Fujio. It has also been announced that she will appear in the film as a guest voice actor. This will be Taira's first time as a voice actor in an anime, and she will play an undersea soldier who pursues Doraemon and his friends.
Taira, who is also a mother of four children, revealed that in order to prepare for the role of a soldier, she was conscious of how she spoke to her children in the imperative form when preparing for the dubbing, saying, "When I heard I'd be playing a soldier, I made sure to speak to them in the imperative form. At first, my children would say, 'Mommy's character has changed!' But they started getting ready faster in the morning and became more agile than usual, even though they're usually lazy, and I feel like life at home has become smoother thanks to the role (laughs)."
It seems she couldn't get rid of the habit even after the dubbing, saying, "I tried not to speak in a soldier's tone in front of my dad (professional soccer player Yuto Nagatomo Yuto), but it got into the habit (laughs). When my dad was there, I instinctively told the kids to 'Go back!' and I think my dad probably thought I was angry (laughs). I didn't tell him about the role I was playing, and I plan to say that it was just practice for the dubbing after the video is released, so I haven't cleared up the misunderstanding yet (laughs)."
When asked during an interview, "If you were to compare yourself to a Doraemon character?", she replied from a mother's perspective, "Ideally I'd be Shizuka-chan. But in the end my kids ask me, 'Mom, where is that?' and I have to prepare everything myself, so I sometimes wonder if I'm Doraemon(laughs)." When asked, "If you could spend a day with Doraemon, what would you do?" she revealed her wish, "There's always been a secret gadget I'd like Doraemon to bring out, a 'see-through telescope' (a telescope that lets you see through walls)! I'd like my kids to go into a school building and spy on what they're doing (laughs)."
The latest film is a remake of the long-loved "Doraemon the Movie: Nobita and the Castle of Nobita's Undersea Rock," released in 1983. The film is set at the bottom of the sea, where Doraemon and his friends embark on a great adventure in a mysterious and mysterious underwater world.
The film will be directed by Yajima Tetsuo, who has worked on storyboarding and directing for the Doraemon TV anime, as well as 2007's Nobita's New Great Adventure into the Underworld: Seven Magicians, 2011's New Nobita and the Steel Troops: Winged Angels, and 2024's Nobita and the Earth Symphony Orchestra.
