An epilogue to the popular manga "My Dress-up Darling" by Shinichi Fukuda, which was serialized in "Young Gangan" (Square Enix), was published in the 14th issue of the magazine, which went on sale on July 4. The series ended its serialization in March, but has already been revived.
The issue also featured a spinoff story by Choboraunyopomi called "Kisekae Ningyo de Chu" in color. The final 15th volume of the "Kise Koi" comics and the spinoff comics will be released on July 25th.
"My Dress-up Darling" began serialization in "Young Gangan" in 2018, and the final episode was published in the 7th issue of the magazine on March 21, bringing the curtain down on the approximately 7-year serialization. The romantic comedy depicts the love story between Gojo Niina, a high school boy training to become a head maker who makes faces for Hina dolls, and Kitagawa Marin, a gyaru cosplayer who loves anime and games.
Season 1 of the TV anime aired from January to March 2022. A live-action drama starring Riko Nagase and Kota Nomura was also broadcast from October to December 2024, which also attracted attention. Season 2 of the TV anime will be broadcast on TOKYO MX and other stations from July 5th.
