It has been announced that a special art stand featuring an illustration from the original work will be given away as a bonus to attendees of "Chapter 1: Akaza Returns" of the new theatrical version of the anime " Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba : Koyoharu Gotouge Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Infinity Castle Arc," based on the popular manga by Koyoharu Gotouge, from July 18th, the day of its release. The A5-sized art stand features the cover illustration from the original work's Chapter 140, "The Final Battle Begins," in which Tanjiro Kamado and his friends plunge into battle in the "Infinity Castle Arc," and comes with one random "non-sale theater poster design card" (6 types in total) featuring a non-sale theater poster. A total of 5 million units are available nationwide.
It was also announced that "And to the Infinity Castle Arc~Akaza Arc~" will be broadcast on Fuji TV's "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Castle Release Commemoration! Seven-Night Special Broadcast," the fourth episode of which is titled "Swordsmith Village Enemy Attack Arc" and will air on July 4th at 8pm.
The story of "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" is about Tanjiro Kamado, whose family was killed by demons, joining the Demon Slaying Corps to turn his sister Nezuko, who has turned into a demon, back into a human. The original was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) from 2016 to 2020. The total number of copies of the comics published is over 150 million.
The TV anime "Tanjiro Kamado, Unwavering Resolve Arc" aired from April to September 2019, and the movie version "Mugen Train" released in October 2020 was a huge hit, grossing approximately 40.4 billion yen, the highest ever box office revenue in Japan. The "Entertainment District Arc" aired from December 2021 to February 2022, the "Swordsmith Village Arc" from April to June 2023, and the "Hashira Training Arc" from May to June 2024. The "Infinity Castle Arc" is a trilogy.
