The sixth episode of the TV drama " A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring Kyoko Yoshine was broadcast on May 29th, and some cute scene cuts from the episode were made public.

In the story, Natsumi (Yoshine) and Takita (Honda Kyoya) visit Natsumi's family home, the Sekiyas. Natsumi's mother Satsuki (Konno Mahiru) tells them that the two had actually met before they got married, so Natsumi and Takita decide to take a walk around the neighborhood to reminisce about that time.
As they talk at the station Natsumi used to use to commute to school, they notice a poster for a play on the wall, and the two of them remember that when they went to see the play, Natsumi and Takitaka were sleeping next to each other.
Furthermore, she happens to meet Natsumi's friend Hisashi (Kanno Rio) who happens to be passing by. She learns that a year ago, when Natsumi fell ill at the station, it was Takimasa who carried her to the hospital.
The two, who had met by fate, were filled with joy, and Natsumi and Takitakazu once again confirmed their feelings for each other. Natsumi was embarrassed, but she told him her secret feelings, "The only person I want you to touch me with those hands is Takitakazu-sama... the only one I want you to hold me in, ever and ever," to which Takitakazu replied, "Me too." Takitakazu then embraced Natsumi tenderly, and the two were finally united.
In the episode, actor Rio Kanno made a surprise appearance as Natsumi's friend Hisashi Saejima. Kanno commented, "I've always wanted to work with Yoshine again, so I was happy that it happened so soon. This time, we were supposed to be good friends, so I was able to talk freely and she taught me how to make a roasted sweet potato! During filming, there was a scene where Takitaka's buttons wouldn't come off, and then they came off, and I had to struggle to contain my laughter."
The story is based on the manga of the same name by Nishika Hachi, which is currently being serialized on Kodansha's manga app Comic Days. It depicts the love story that begins in 1936, when Natsumi, who was proposed to and married on "zero days of dating," and Imperial Navy lieutenant Takitaka Ebata begin their married life together.
