On May 27th, actress Yuko Oshima announced on her Instagram (@yuk00shima) that she had given birth to her second child.
Oshima reported, "We are now welcoming a new life into our lives." "Both mother and child are healthy, and I am happy to be able to report this to everyone safely."
She continued, "I am very grateful to the teachers who took care of us, to all the people involved who understood and cooperated with us, and to my family, friends, and those around me who supported me." "I can't wait for the future that I will create with my children. I would appreciate your kind support until the day I can meet you all again," she wrote, along with a photo of her touching her children's hands.
Her husband, actor Hayashi Kento, also announced on his official website, in a joint statement with Oshima, "A new life has been born into our family. Both mother and child are healthy and are able to spend each day peacefully. We would like to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has always shown us their warm support, the doctors who have taken care of us, and all the people involved who have shown their understanding and cooperation."
Oshima and Hayashi announced their marriage in July 2021. They announced the birth of their first child in January 2023.
