The seventh episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama " Caster " (Sunday 9:00 pm), starring actor Hiroshi Abe , was broadcast on May 25th, and recorded an average audience rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) of 10.3% for households and 6.2% for individuals. The household audience rating has remained in double digits since the first episode.
The drama is a social entertainment set in a TV news program, where the truth buried in the darkness is pursued and evil is punished. Abe plays the unconventional newscaster Soichi Shindo, Nagano Mei plays the general director Hana Mei Nagano , who struggles despite being pushed around by Hana Sakikubo , and Shunsuke Michieda of " Naniwa Danshi " plays Yusuke Motohashi, a rookie assistant director aspiring to be a journalist who respects Shindo.
In episode 7, Shindo, who was waiting for Mayumi (Anne Nakamura) to arrive at the hospital, contacts Himawari Net's CEO, Fukazawa ( Shinya Niiro), for the first time in 18 years. Hana (Mei Nagano), who suspects a relationship between Shindo and Fukazawa, finds an important clue through her own investigation. Then, Hana's father (Takashi Yamanaka), who has been missing for many years, appears before her... and so the story unfolds.
