It has been revealed that the popular group "Travis Japan" will be the Japanese ending song artist for the movie "Lilo & Stitch" (directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, released on June 6th). They will sing Elvis Presley's famous song "Burning Love," which is also used in the ending theme of the animated version.
The film is a live-action adaptation of the Disney animated film of the same name produced in 2002. It is a fantasy set on the island of Kauai in Hawaii, depicting the important bond of "ohana (family)." A young girl named Lilo and her older sister Nani, who have lost their parents, are confronted by Stitch, a rowdy alien who knows no family love. Stitch's unpredictable actions cause chaos on the peaceful island, but this miraculous encounter eventually changes the sisters who had almost lost hope. Kaito Nakamura of Travis Japan is the voice of David, a kind-hearted surfer.
The reason for choosing Travis Japan was that "Disney headquarters and filmmakers highly praised them as one-of-a-kind entertainers, with their overwhelming performance skills, pop singing ability, and the sunny, positive aura that the group exudes."
In addition, Travis Japan traveled to the United States before their debut, where they lived together under the same roof and underwent training, and the close friendship that the members developed through these experiences is said to be in line with the themes of the film, such as "family ties" and "connections with friends."

This is a live-action adaptation of the animation that we've known since we were little, and we were already happy just to be involved, with Kaito providing the voice, but we're also incredibly honored, happy, and grateful that Travis Japan can participate in the song in this way, so we'll do our best until it reaches the theaters, so please look forward to it!

It's a great honor. I've loved Stitch since I was a child, and the first stuffed animal I bought was Stitch, so I'm really happy to be able to take part in the live-action version of "Lilo & Stitch." More than anything, I'm really happy that as Travis Japan, we'll be able to sing songs with our own voices in a Disney production, so we'll work hard to improve our singing voices and do our best to be of some help to the production!

It's already exciting enough to hear the voices of the members who won the auditions at the theater, but we have even more exciting news that makes our hearts burn with excitement! We hope you'll all join us in looking forward to the release of the movie "Lilo & Stitch"!
