It has been announced that special stickers of Gege Akutami's popular manga " Jujutsu Kaisen ," serialized in "Weekly Shonen Gege Akutami " (Shueisha), will be included as an attachment to the June issue of "Saikyō Jump" (Shueisha), which goes on sale on May 2nd. To commemorate the release of the 29th and final 30th volumes of the manga in December 2024, the stickers will feature original illustrations by Akutami that were featured in the Mainichi Shimbun and other national newspapers and became a hot topic. There are four types in total: Yuji Itadori, Satoru Gojo, Kento Nanami, and Choso .
The supplement comes in commemoration of the release of the movie compilation of the second season of the TV anime " Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu Jujutsu Kaisen ", "The Omnibus Jujutsu Kaisen : The Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu", on May 30th.
In this issue, the new work "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" of the popular manga "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" written by Sho Makura and illustrated by Tsuyoshi Okano will start serialization. The issue also includes a double-sided B3-sized poster of "My Hero Academia Team Up Mission" and a double-sided B3-sized poster of "My Hero Academia" and "Vigilante - My Hero Academia ILLEGALS".
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from March 2018 to September 2024. The story is about a high school student, Yuji Itadori, who is thrown into a world of battles over curses after a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed. The total number of copies of the comic series published is over 100 million.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. There is also talk of a sequel to the anime, Jujutsu Kaisen: Culling Game, being produced.
