The much-talked-about puppet show "Prin Prin Monogatari," which is being rebroadcast on NHK Educational TV, will begin its "Akuta Republic Arc" on April 7. The "Akuta Republic Arc" is the series that has been most anticipated by viewers in this rebroadcast, and is also known for the appearance of General Luci, a dictator with an IQ of 1300. Two episodes will be broadcast every Monday from 10:50 pm.
"Prin Prin Monogatari" was broadcast as a puppet show series from 6pm Monday to Friday for three years from 1979 to 1982, with a total of 656 episodes. The story is about Princess Prin Prin traveling around the world with her friends in search of her undiscovered homeland, and the original storyline, which included unique characters and social satire, became a hot topic.
