Aya Hirano:First solo song in 11 years, new music career begins with Lantis

It has been announced that "evolutions", a new song released under a solo name by voice actress and singer Aya Hirano, her first in about 11 years, will be released on May 10th. It will be released by Lantis label, where Hirano began her musical career as a solo artist in 2006. March 8th, 2026 marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Hirano's solo debut single "Breakthrough". As the countdown to the 20th anniversary begins, she will start a new musical career with Lantis.

The music will be produced by Heart Company, headed by Shigeru Saito, who supported Hirano's musical activities as a music producer for "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya" and "Lucky Star." By teaming up again with his former production team, Hirano's musical activities will enter a new phase.

The new song "evolutions", which is the first in about 11 years, is said to be a song full of impact and energy that expresses Hirano's "now". John Kanda (Ajiwai) was in charge of composition and arrangement, and Hirano himself wrote the lyrics.

In April, she will begin a live house tour named after the song, "AYA HIRANO LIVE TOUR 2025 -evolutions-". Starting with a performance at KANDA SQUARE HALL (Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo) on April 27, she will visit eight locations across the country, including Fukuoka, Hiroshima, Miyagi, Tochigi, Aichi, Osaka, and Sapporo.
