It has been announced that Natsumi Fujiwara and Ayumi Tsunematsu will be appearing as voice actors in the TV anime "One Hundred Views of Awashima," based on the manga by Takako Shimura, who is also known for "Aoi Hana" and "Hōrō Musuko." Fujiwara will play Emi Okabe, who enrolls at the Awashima Opera School as a scholarship student, while Tsunematsu will play Keiko Ibuki, an elite from Awashima who is the third generation of her family to become jealous of Emi Okabe's talent and isolate her. Character visuals for Emi Okabe and Keiko Ibuki have also been released.
Fujiwara commented, "Among the many characters that appear, Okabe Emi is a character who has many different feelings, so it was sometimes difficult to play her, but I was very happy to be able to play her and be involved in this production. I hope that people will enjoy watching the anime."
Tsunematsu said, "Keiko just wanted to be loved, and just wanted to pursue her dreams. I cannot approve of the actions she took, but I also could not deny everything. The hurt, longing, jealousy, and regret that were in Keiko's heart. I approached the dubbing with the feeling of carefully weaving together the threads of delicate emotions. I hope you look forward to 'One Hundred Views of Awashima'."
