Friday Road Show (Nippon TV, Friday 9pm) on December 12th will be broadcasting the uncut version of "Wish Upon a Star" (2023, USA), which was produced to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Disney's founding, for the first time.
Asha (Erika Ikuta), a young girl living in the magical kingdom of Rosas, wishes for her 100-year-old grandfather's wish to come true. However, she soon learns the shocking truth that all "wishes" are controlled by King Magnifico (Masaharu Fukuyama), who wields magic.
In response to Asha's earnest desire to restore everyone's wishes, a "Wishing Star" descends from the night sky. Guided by the star, Asha rises to her feet, along with her companion, the baby goat Valentino (Koichi Yamadera), and other friends.
Next week on Friday Roadshow on December 19th, they will be broadcasting a 10-minute extended version of the classic sitcom "Home Alone" (1990, USA).
