The ninth episode of the TBS Sunday Theatre drama "The Royal Family" (Sundays at 9:00 PM), starring Satoshi Tsumabuki, aired on December 7th. The scene in which Nozaki Kanako, played by Wakana Matsumoto, witnesses the "resurrection" of her son, Shohei (Ichihara Shogo), brought tears to the eyes of viewers.

Approximately seven months have passed since Shohei fell off his horse in the Autumn Tenno Sho. Now he is undergoing his final test before he can return to racing with the Royal Family.
On the day of the test, Kanako watches Shohei mount his family at the starting line. As Shohei and his family take off, Kanako and Hironaka (played by Masanobu Ando) immediately jump into the car and chase after them.
Shohei and his family raced across the green land with all their might, reaching the finish line. Kurisu (Tsumabuki) and Koichi (Ren Meguro), who were there, rejoiced at their "resurrection." Kanako, who had reached the finish line, looked at her reliable son's back and shouted, "Shohei!" as she burst into tears.
