ONE PIECE:New footage from the TV anime "Egghead Arc" released, new opening theme sung by Gre4N BOYZ unveiled

A new video of the "Egghead Arc" of the TV anime "ONE PIECE," based on the popular manga by Eiichiro Oda, was released on YouTube on March 24th. The show will be broadcast on a different time slot from April 6th, and will be aired on the same network nationwide at 11:15pm every Sunday. The PV also unveiled a part of the new opening theme "Angel and Devil" by the vocal group "GRe4N BOYZ."

Gre4N BOYZ is a four-member male vocal group that has released numerous hits since its debut as GreeeN, including "Ai Uta," "Kiseki," "Haruka," and "Orange." In March 2024, the group changed its name to GRe4N BOYZ, which became a hot topic. The group is also involved with Oda, the author of "ONE PIECE," and Oda designed the characters of the four members for the key visual of the 2022 national tour.

Gre4N BOYZ commented, "Everyone!!!! Have you seen it?! Have you witnessed it?! The continuation of that story is about to begin again! We are happy and feel pressured to have been entrusted with such a memorable moment. However, there are people who we want to be happy, and there is a continuation of exciting days to come. We hope that this song, which we poured our heart out into, will reach all those lives that are to be happy!!! So, let's all go on an adventure together and see where the story ends!!!!"

The TV anime "ONE PIECE" began airing in October 1999, and has been broadcast on Fuji TV every Sunday at 9:30 am since October 2006. From October 20, 2024 to March 30, 2025, there will be a "recharging period," during which the production team is preparing to further improve the quality of the anime. During this period, the "SPECIAL EDITED VERSION 'ONE PIECE' Fishman Island Arc" is currently airing. On April 6, the time slot will move from 9:30 am on Sundays, where it has been broadcast for about 18 years, to 11:15 pm on Sundays, and the series will be broadcast nationwide.

On April 5th, the day before the time slot change, at 9pm, a special edition of One Piece: Egghead will be broadcast on Fuji TV's Saturday Premium. The special edition of the first part of the Egghead arc that has been broadcast so far, as well as episode 1123, the first episode of the second part, will be broadcast.

"ONE PIECE" depicts the adventures of Luffy, a young man with a straw hat whose limbs can stretch like rubber, as he and his companions set out on an adventure across the open seas in an attempt to become the King of the Pirates. The series began serialization in 1997 in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha).
