The cover of idol group Hinatazaka46's 16th single, "Cliffhanger" (released January 28, 2026), has been revealed.
The jacket was created with the theme "Towards the Light" and shows the members wearing winter coats and knitwear in the dark, glowing as snow falls from the sky, conveying the message that "No matter how bad things get, Hinatazaka46 will always make us smile."
The latest artist photo, released the other day, depicts "heading towards the light" with the morning glow in the background, and the jacket and artist photo are said to tell a single story.
The center of the song will be 5th generation member Manami Ono, who joined the group this year. This will be the first time that a 5th generation member will be in the center of a Hinatazaka46 single title song.
