Actress Mari Hoshino will appear on the talk show "Oshare Clip" (Nippon Television Network, Sundays at 10 PM) on June 28th.
Hoshino is serving as the charity runner for Nippon Television's charity program "24-Hour Television 49 - Love Saves the Earth -". A major reason for deciding to take on the challenge of the charity marathon was the existence of his 10-year-old daughter, Fuka, who suffers from congenital myopathy, a disease designated as a rare disease by the government.
Hoshino, who hopes that people will learn about those who live their lives to the fullest, like Fuuka-chan who lives confidently in society despite her anxieties, declares her strong resolve, saying, "For my family, for my daughter, and for everyone who supports me." She then shares the positive reaction of her family when she told them she would be taking on the marathon.
In the program, Hoshino's daughter, Fuuka, and her husband, Takahiro Takano, appear in an interview to talk about Hoshino's everyday life. Fuuka describes her mom as having "intense emotions," describing the family's daily routine. Her positive attitude and mature way of speaking impress MC Ikusaburo Yamazaki, who exclaims, "That's just amazing!"
While Ms. Hoshino takes on the challenge of a charity marathon, her daughter, Fuuka, is also facing a major challenge: surgery. Encouraged by Fuuka's words, "When I'm doing my best, I want you to do your best too," Ms. Hoshino reflects on the daily life she has spent with her beloved daughter. Choosing to run as one way of responding to the love she has received from Fuuka and her daughter, Ms. Hoshino talks about her aspirations for this summer.
