A teaser trailer for the TV anime "Tadaima, Ojamasamasu!", based on the manga by Watomura, which is currently being distributed on the manga distribution site "Comic Seymour" (NTT Solmare), has been released on YouTube. The story is a romantic comedy about three people who end up sharing a room due to an unexpected incident, living under the same roof. The trailer depicts the intersection of otaku love and romantic feelings as the protagonist, Nakama Rinko, a closeted otaku, is caught between Usaharu-sensei, also known as Usada Haruma, the author of her favorite manga, "Usaneko-bu," and the refreshing gentleman Satsuki Kyoto.
It was also announced that the series will collaborate with Kana Hanazawa, on her radio show "Kana Hanazawa's Can You Do It Alone?" (Cultural Broadcasting). A segment titled "Kana Hanazawa's 'I'm on the Radio Now?'" will be streamed on YouTube every Friday at 6pm starting from January 2, 2026. Hanazawa will introduce the series and develop segments related to the worldview of the series.
The story is about three people: Rinko, a 24-year-old office worker who lives alone and is a closeted otaku; Satsuki, a refreshing gentleman who lives to the left of Rinko's room; and Usada, a manga artist who lives to the right.These people end up living a somewhat unusual room-sharing life after a hole appears in the wall of their room.
The anime will be directed by Itsuki Imazaki, who has worked on "Ai Mai Me," and will also be in charge of series composition, and will be produced by Tatsunoko Productions. Hanazawa will play the heroine Nakama Rinko, Kaito Ishikawa will play Satsuki Kyoto, and Ishitani Haruki will play Usada Haruma. It is scheduled to air in 2026.
