It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime " Jujutsu Kaisen ", based on the popular manga by Gege Akutami that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), " Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu" and "Shibuya Incident ", will be streamed for free on TVer. Episodes 25 to 29 are currently being streamed, and all 23 episodes will be streamed sequentially from now on.
The second season depicts the episode " Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu " from Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto ' time at the Jujutsu Technical College, and the " Shibuya Incident" that takes place in the crowded Shibuya streets on Halloween on October 31st, and was broadcast on MBS and TBS from July to December 2023. The theatrical edit version of "Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu", " Jujutsu Kaisen Compilation : Kaigyoku/Gyokusetsu", is also attracting attention as it will be released on May 30th.
"Jujutsu Kaisen" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from March 2018 to September 2024. When a powerful "cursed object" is unsealed, high school student Yuji Itadori is thrown into a world of battles over curses... The comic series has sold over 100 million copies in total.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version, Jujutsu Kaisen 0 to the first season, was released in December 2021 and was a huge hit, grossing approximately 13.75 billion yen in Japan and approximately 26.5 billion yen worldwide. The second season of the TV anime aired from July to December 2023. There is also talk of a sequel to the anime, Culling Game, being produced.
